These terms are here to keep things clear and fair for everyone – dogs, handlers, and instructors alike.

By booking with Paw & Order, you’re agreeing to the terms below. They’re here to keep everyone – dogs and humans alike – safe, happy, and learning well.

Health, Safety & Common Sense

Dog training is hands-on and real-world, which means there’s always some level of risk. We do everything we reasonably can to keep sessions safe and well-managed, but dogs are dogs, and things can happen.

By attending, you accept that you’re responsible for yourself and your dog during sessions.

Is My Dog Suitable?

• Group classes aren’t suitable for dogs showing aggression without an assessment first – if you’re unsure, just ask us before booking.

• Dogs that are unwell, injured, or bitches in season must sit that session out.

• Your dog should be fit, healthy, and comfortable working around others.

We may ask a dog to leave a session if safety or welfare becomes a concern. This is always done kindly and in the dog’s best interests.

How We Train

Paw & Order uses kind, modern, reward-based training.

If you’re unsure about your equipment, have a word with us – we’re happy to help.

Responsible Handling (You’re the Officer in Charge!)

Handlers are expected to:

• Keep dogs under control

• Use leads when asked

• Clean up after their dog

• Be respectful to others and the venue

• Bring water and appropriate food/ rewards. 

We’re friendly, but we do expect good manners – from humans as well as dogs.

Locations & Changes

Training locations vary and can be rural or urban, they can occasionally change due to weather, venue issues, or operational needs. We’ll always let you know as soon as possible and keep any changes reasonable.

Cancellations & Missed Sessions

• We need at least 24 hours’ notice if you can’t attend.

• Less than 24 hours’ notice means the session can’t be refunded or credited.

• If we can fill your space, we may offer a credit – this isn’t guaranteed.

If we have to cancel a session, we’ll offer a replacement or refund.

Photos & Videos

We sometimes take photos or videos during sessions for social media and promotion.

If you’d rather you or your dog didn’t appear, just let us know before the session.
