Jennie - Head Trainer & Scent Specialist
Always one step ahead of the nose and has a habit of hiding things in impossible places
Jennie is a skilled and passionate dog trainer who brings real-world experience to every class. Founder of Paw & Order, Jennie stepped out on her own to launch the business in 2024, bringing her structured, skilled, and fun approach to dog training to teams across Norfolk and Suffolk.
With years of hands-on experience and instructor training under a Master Dog Trainer, she’s also completed a range of IMDT courses including in Gun Dog where she has real world experience of working her dogs in the fields. She holds a NASDU qualification in drug detection handling and professionally works her dogs in a number of environments requiring passive and proactive drug detection. She is a qualified Scentwork UK judge and brings her experience of professional detection into the classroom.
Having built a solid foundation in behaviour, handling, and training psychology, she now shares that knowledge with clients, running group classes and private 1-2-1s tailored to dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and breeds.
She currently works two incredible dogs of her own – Apple, a drug detection dog trained in passive scent identification, and Conker, a gentle therapy dog who’s known for her calm, comforting presence. Whether they’re out working or helping teach others, both dogs play an active part in the Paw & Order pack.
Jennie specialises in scent work, agility, and problem solving; with a firm belief that obedience training should be just as fun and engaging. No cookie-cutter methods here – Jennie takes a thoughtful, personalised approach, adapting techniques to suit each dog and their human partner. Whether you’ve got a bounding spaniel, a sensitive soul, or a mischief-maker on your hands, you’ll find a calm, structured path to progress with Jennie’s guidance.
Stacy - Scent Work Instructor & Multi-Dog Mum
Known for creative searches, big laughs, and dogs that work their socks off (for cheese).
With three high drive dogs of her own – each with their own quirks and training goals – Stacy knows that no two dogs (or handlers!) learn the same way and prides herself on adapting her style to the handler and dog in front of her and not just following the class plan for that session! She works her own dogs in Dog Sports, Track:Trailing, Competitive Scentwork as well searching for fun, agility and any other game she can try with them. She regularly spends time with other instructors, or on courses, continuously working to develop and expand her knowledge.
Professionally, Stacy has completed her IMDT Puppy Instructor training, along with a number of other engagement and enrichment courses such as Canine Hoopers but it’s all forms of scent work and getting dogs using their main sense, that really lights her up.
She’s is a Scentwork UK qualified Instructor and Trial Manager, along with UK Scent Sport (now UC Scent Sport) Instructor and Assessor and is a member of the Scent Instructors Network; all of which helps her to deliver engaging, confidence-building courses.
Stacy is also the business and operations lead for Paw and Order so she’s often the first point of contact when emailing or messaging the business and can often be found camera in hand asking a dog to pose for a social media photo!
