Active Skills for Body & Mind
Happy Bodies, Busy Minds
Our Active Skills sessions are all about getting you and your dog moving, thinking, and working together.
From agility to hoopers and tricks, these activities build teamwork, confidence, and coordination—giving your dog both a physical outlet and a mental workout. The result? A dog who feels more fulfilled, focused, and settled afterwards (and often a pleasantly tired human too).
Whether you’re looking to try something new or build on existing skills, sessions are designed to be fun, supportive, and accessible for all levels.
Agility runs as a regular class on Friday evenings, with hoopers and tricks offered as workshops throughout the year.

Agility
Our agility sessions are all about having fun, building teamwork, and giving your dog a great outlet for both body and mind.
We focus on creating confident, capable dogs who enjoy the activity, working at a pace that suits each individual team. Whether you’re looking for something fun to do together or thinking about progressing further, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
For those who do catch the competition bug, we’re happy to guide you—but there’s absolutely no pressure. We also run our own relaxed, customer-only fun competitions once or twice a year, giving you the chance to have a go in a friendly and supportive environment.
Dogs need to be 18 months or older to join our agility classes, ensuring they are physically ready for the demands of the equipment.
Classes run on Friday nights at the indoor arena near Halesworth.
Hoopers
Hoopers is a low-impact activity that’s suitable for dogs of all ages and stages.
Using a flowing course of hoops, tunnels, and barrels, dogs learn to move around obstacles while building focus, confidence, and a strong sense of teamwork with their handler. It’s particularly great for those looking for something gentler than agility, while still giving both body and brain a good workout.
Whether you have a young dog just starting out, an older dog who still loves to stay active, or simply want to try something new together, hoopers offers an enjoyable and accessible way to train.
Hoopers is run as a short course in Hedenham (near Bungay), giving you the chance to learn the foundations and build your skills in a relaxed, supportive setting..
Paw-formance Academy: Tricks Workshops
Our tricks workshops are a fun and engaging way to build skills, confidence, and connection with your dog.
Held monthly, these sessions focus on foundational movements that are then developed into a variety of tricks—helping your dog learn how to think, problem-solve, and work closely with you.
Many of these skills carry over into everyday life too, giving you useful ways to engage your dog, build focus, or redirect their energy when you need it. As well as being enjoyable, the movements involved can also support your dog’s body awareness, coordination, and overall wellbeing.
Some tricks are practical, some are just for fun—but all of them help create a dog who enjoys learning and working with you.
And who knows… one day you might even find yourself putting together your very own routine—Crufts, here you come!
